Sons of Asaph
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Hebrews 13
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

Worship Ministry
A believer devoid of a strong connection with God is at a high risk of drifting away during their walk of salvation. At WOCM we train our members to connect with God through prayer and worship. This connection grooms the believer to be reliant on God and not their pastor. That reliance helps them run to God during situations and seek His guidance on every issue. Worship aligns the heart of a believer with what God is doing at that moment. If God is administering healing at a particular time during a service, every heart aligned to the prophetic will receive healing. The same goes for anointing, favour, peace, comfort, faith, fulfilment, satisfaction, completion, blessing, joy, cleansing, forgiveness, amendments, power, love, strength, and much more.
The above phenomena account for why someone may enter a service as a broken person and get out a whole new being. It also explains why some people leave services as empty as they came in. Our worshipers are trained to minister during these sessions and prepare the hearts of people for the move of God. They pray fervently before the services and sessions so that the atmosphere can be set for the move of God to take place. If you have been to different churches, services, conferences or meetings, you may have noticed that the spiritual setup is not the same. Other services have an atmosphere where the Spirit of God flows automatically whereas at other services, believers struggle to worship.
Furthermore, when your heart is aligned to the will of God decision-making becomes easy. The results of wrong decision-making are detrimental to the believer in comparison to the perfect will of God. Going against the will of God ends in tears on several occasions. It is important to always remember that the will of God is for prosperity and hope and anything contrary to it has the power to destroy you. Having the correct relationship with God will assist in your understanding of the will of God over your life. We train people how to have a constant relationship with God and how to submit to His will even though it might be challenging. The voice of God may not be so obvious to many Christians. All the more the reason we encourage our members to worship and pray is so that they can learn to hear the voice over time.
Music is a tool that creates an atmosphere for worshipping God. At WOCM, we choose music that glorifies God. The power of music is a subject that several people overlook. One of the best illustrations in the Bible is how David’s music could soothe King Saul’s spirit. That is how powerful music is.
Unfortunately, the enemy has infiltrated the Christian worship system and engineered songs that are not close to worship songs, yet several believers believe them to be upright songs. We do not underestimate the power of music, and thus, we choose the right songs to sing during services. Every believer should also weigh the spirit behind every song to establish whether it is of God or not. A person with a strong relationship with The Holy Spirit will immediately perceive a wrong spirit behind some song when sung. Such songs should be avoided in the church because they can do havoc on the souls and spirits of young believers.
