World Outreach Christian Ministries 10-year Vision

1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

World Outreach Christian Ministries is a church founded in August 2005. The church has since grown and experienced dynamic changes. It has taken the mighty hand of God to reach where we have reached, but we are still in the race to our destiny. What we have accomplished so far is a minute fraction of what the vision entails. The church management and leadership board have played a big role in steering the church and ensuring that the church is steadily moving to the vision. Several plans have been formulated; some of them implemented and some are future-oriented. All in all, we plan according to the will of God and He leads every step of the way.

In the next 10 years the ministry has a vision to:

  1. Plant 100 Churches across the world

The mission of World Outreach is to train, equip and release leaders for global impact; and our vision is to demonstrate the power and love of God to all nations. It is, therefore, consequential that we begin churches to disciple people and train them to be agents of Jesus Christ after we show them the incredible love of God through salvation. Paul was an apostle and he planted churches wherever he went to teach and spread the gospel. It is from this archetype that we want to achieve our vision and mission.

It is of significant importance that some of the churches planted have their premise and permanent structures as sanctuaries. World Outreach has a vision of furnishing approximately 50 of the planted churches with land.

      2. Start schools

Proverbs 22:6 points out that you should train a child in the way they should go, and when they grow up, they will not depart from it (paraphrased). We must teach our children in the ways of the LORD. This is the stratum upon which their character is built. Education is also essential for a child and combining the two gives a perfect character shaping experience. This is why the church seeks to begin 5 schools in Kenya.

Furthermore, the church also seeks to begin a college.

       3. Purchase buses

Transport is vital for missions or even ferrying church members to a service of fellowship. The church has a vision of equipping each branch with buses and vans depending on the need.

       4. Integrate music concerts

Music is a subtle way of conveying the message of Christ to non-believers. It is an avenue worth investing in. The church, therefore, wants to take advantage of the method by grooming musicians and singers through bands and worship teams. We want to create 2 full bands and equip them with all the equipment needed for concerts and recording live music.

      5. Do more missions to other countries

Soul winning is our number one priority because it is the great commission that our Lord Jesus Christ bestowed upon us. So far, the ministry has been able to reach a couple of countries which include South Africa, United States, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Philippines, Liberia, and Burundi as of August 2023. We look forward to visiting more countries to spread the gospel and plant churches.

Vision for the ministry's headquarters in Nairobi Kenya

The World Outreach Christian Ministries headquarters is situated in Nairobi, Kenya. The overseer, Apostle Philemon Muderwa is currently heading the main church. The main church is growing and is significantly impacting the local area and community. However, some impeding factors are facing the church. We have projected our plans over 10 years to eliminate most of these factors. The Nairobi church has a vision to:

            1. Purchase land

Currently, the headquarters sanctuary is renting out a hall at Kobil, along North Airport Road in Embakasi Nairobi. The church carries out regular fundraising events to raise funds for the rent and other financial obligations. Plans to purchase land are underway as the fundraising cash is sometimes saved for that purpose after the rent has been paid.

             2. Construct a sanctuary

The church seeks to build a 5,000-seater sanctuary for the fellowship of the members. Upon winning so many souls to the Lord, the members will surfeit and there will be a need to build a big place of worship to accommodate the large number.

             3. Integrate music

World Outreach seeks to train singers for the church to lead them into worship. We have a vision of creating a choir of around a hundred people and a full band. They are to be equipped with musical instruments so that they can lead the congregants in heavenly worship and praises to our God.

              4. Do more soul winning

The church has a burden for the lost and seeks to win some 50,000 souls in the next ten years for the glory of God. The work does not end there. We also need to train them in the ways of the LORD and disciple them. They need to be equipped with all they need to reach out to even more people.
